Welcome to the Forbes Jazz Festival
The FORBES JAZZ FESTIVAL is an annual celebration of Jazz held in various venues around Forbes, Central NSW, on the first weekend of January.
The 2011 Forbes Jazz Festival will explode throughout Forbes, filling the streets with music, food and wine, what better way to welcome in the New Year.
Kick start the entertainment on the Saturday with blows in pubs and clubs and a Meet & Greet to welcome all visiting musicians and jazz enthusiasts.
Sunday begins with a Jazz Breakfast followed by a Gospel Service in Victoria Park followed by more jazz in pubs and clubs and at Forbes newest tourist attraction, Mc Feeter’s Car Museum, building up to our fun filled wine and food evening.
The JAZZ with PIZZAZZ wine & food evening is the major event of the festival, showcasing regional produce, to the background of live music, in the beautiful surrounds of Victoria Park.
The Monday will be another day of jazz, jazz, jazz, at participating clubs and pubs.
Jazz enthusiasts and food and wine lovers will not want to miss the Forbes Jazz Festival, a complete 3 day weekend of great live music and fantastic food and wine.
